Comparing Twitter accounts of 6 Australian Travel Insurance Companies who sell international Travel Insurance. 

When choosing the right travel insurance policy it is prudent to check reviews first, this can tell us about the quality of their customer service, how user friendly their website is and what difficulties you may come across when trying to make a claim.

Firstly we are going to find who are the top 5 travel insurance providers in Australia by going to Google and then Bing.

After a quick search for "top Australian Travel Insurance Companies in 2023" on the first page we go to each website and compare to the next website and see who keeps popping up across the board, this helps filter out paid sponsorships or advertisers.

Once we have our short list we then go to Twitter and look for how many followers each provider has, how many they are following and then their activity.

I like to go to Twitter because as a community in 2023 it is reported that they have 450 million active monthly users and if anyone knows Twitter they know the active users are vocal, this means if the company has a profile they are knowingly going to be actively scrutinized on performance while also providing an open channel of communication for customers, who can also then engage each other to discuss the companies performance and share each others experiences. 

So we want to know how many followers, how many they follow and more importantly when was their last entry, the nature of their replies/ tweets and how long does it take for them to reply.
